Qazvin: Qazvin province is located in the central area of Iran in 165 km northwest of Tehran. The province is divided into two areas; mountainous and plain. It has mild weather and is somehow like Tehran. Qazvin also has a verdurous nature including verdant fields, splendid mountains, and lakes with various botanical and zoological species. Considering the special ecosystems of the province, the opulence of the wild life of Qazvin is really considerable.

 The city has been the cradle of civilization, science and arts. Many of celebrated Iranians are from Qazvin. The ancient and historical relics demonstrate that the city has been a resident for more than 9 hundred years. The city has been the capital of the country in the Safavid era before Esfahan, so there are numerous interesting buildings from that time. The city has splendid shrines, traditional houses, mosques, reservoirs, gates, bath houses and for sure palaces which are really amazing to visit. One would observe the art of architecture and adoration of edifices and buildings in Qazvin. Some of these places to visit are as follows; Chehel Sotoon Palace, great Mosque, the Reservoir of the great Mosque, Sardar Reservoir, Aminis' house of worship (aminis' Hosseinieh), etc 

Chehel sotoon: It is the admired Safavid’s palace, which is now a museum of calligraphy, with a nice garden that takes you to the beautiful court of Safavid kings.

Water Reservoir: Qazvin is the city of water reservoirs. As it has been in a dry land, clever Qazvini people have built many reservoirs to save water. This is something you may not see in many other cities.

Peighambarieh: There is a holy shrine in Qazvin that you shouldn’t miss; four prophets are buried in Peighambarieh. And at last, while you are in Qazvin, do not forget to try Baghlava, a nice sweet which Qazvini confectionaries cook and sell.
